These are typical tickets from the HaNamal desk: a stack that would not take paper, copper that opened behind plaster, a heater union that wept on a Kiryat stand. Names stay off the page. The work does not.
Hadar
Kitchen slow at night, bath on the floor above holding water in the morning. We skipped the U-bend lecture and opened the shaft. Wipes and grease at the bend. Rodded, flushed, camera to confirm the run was round again.
Building committee got the sentence: the riser is shared, the wipes are a building habit, not one flat’s “mystery.” We left the access usable, not painted shut.
Carmel
Slope house, plaster bloom, water still moving. Occupant had not found the cock. We isolated at the meter side of the flat, opened a short chase, cut out the pinhole, sweated a copper repair, pressured the joint, and left the hole honest for the plasterer.
Parking took longer than the solder. That is Carmel. We still billed the pipe, not the hill.
Kiryat
Yard cylinder, salt air, drip tray half rust. The call said “heater dead.” The heater was fine. The union was weeping into the tray and the tray was weeping into the yard. New union, new tray, isolation cock that actually shuts.
It was a Friday morning. We finished before 13:00. A full swap would have been Sunday. We do not sell a cylinder when a fitting will do.
Port
A forklift kiss had ovalled a run along a low wall. We cut back to round pipe, offset with copper, clipped it where a pallet cannot reach, and tested. Galvanised leftovers on the same wall were left alone — they were not the leak.
HaNamal side of town
Commercial hours still follow the bench: Sun–Thu to 18:00, Friday to 13:00. A warehouse burst after that is a phone call and an isolation plan, same as a flat.

Hadar cupboard, painted handle, occupant sure “it does not do anything.” It did — once we stopped treating it as decoration. The old cock crumbled. New isolation, labelled, tested against the riser so the floor above kept water.
This is the unglamorous half of burst work. If you cannot shut the line, every pinhole becomes a flood. We would rather replace a cock on a quiet Tuesday than chase plaster on a Saturday.
